SBTRUST.ORG, the Small Business Trust Assurance Service, was created in 1999 by Drake Analytics, Inc., a Seattle-based technology services firm.

1999 SBTRUST service created as a membership-based organization which complemented the Cyber-Cop Network, a consumer-related advocacy service also owned and managed by Drake Analytics, Inc.

2000, 2001, 2002 Initial growth phase of the organization which saw it develop and provide the core services that are still available today: policy monitoring, small business advocacy, and programs for privacy and consumer ratings.

2003 The Cyber-Cop Network is merged into SBTRUST to make it both a consumer and small business advocacy service. The merger allows SBTRUST to add contact verification, policy confirmation and message forwarding services.

2004 The SBTRUST technology is upgraded to function as a web service with online document storage and retrieval, web site integration and online reporting. An online Control Panel makes management of SBTRUST subscriber services much easier.

The future of SBTRUST lies in enhancing both consumer and small business services; expanding the Cyber-Cop Network; and offering additional features to enable advocacy for an increased variety of e-commerce situations.
