The Policy Confirmation Service may be used for two purposes:

    - To capture, timestamp and store a web page that contains a policy. This ensures that you will be able to later authenticate the content of the policy. The confirmation process will create an ID for this stored document which can be used for later retrieval.

    - To have an SBTRUST staff member clarify the content of an online policy. This is usually to assist with understanding specific terms in a policy or to have SBTRUST serve as a middle person to obtain specific policy information from a subscriber while allowing a consumer to retain their anonymity.

Web page registration and storage is managed by the National Registration Service.
