The Small Business Trust Assurance (SBTRUST.ORG) does not use electronic mail for marketing purposes. If you received marketing e-mail that appeared to come from SBTRUST or SPAM that was marketing SBTRUST then please report this. SBTRUST does not tolerate SPAM.

The following are the only times in which SBTRUST will send an electronic mail:

    1. If you request support from SBTRUST via the Contact form. In this case, SBTRUST is responding to your request.

    2. Many of the services offered to customers require e-mail confirmation. For example, when requesting Policy Confirmation, an e-mail is first sent to the address indicated as requesting the service. This e-mail is required for starting the process. When the confirmation is performed another e-mail is sent with the results. Most services require e-mail confirmation before beginning. This reduces some frivolous usage of the system.

    3. If you are a subscriber and need assistance logging into your account then your e-mail address is the only method by which the system can send a password reset link.

    4. When subscribing to SBTRUST, a confirmation of your subscription will be sent to your e-mail address.
